What should I look for when buying skis?
I know absolutely nothing about buying bikes … the meaning of numbers, which marks are good, so I am a girl of 14, 5 "4" and thin. I ski blue square and black diamond just started. I'll be skiing at least 5 times this year. Many skis online, I've seen say things like "ideal for all types of terrain!" But I am limited to preparation chairlift accessible trails. I will never explore the mountains or something. I'm just interested in recreational skiing, and I want my skis to last as long as possible. Oh, and also have to buy boots and bindings. My feet are probably stopped growing, but not permanently. What types of skis / boots / links do I look? Any tips are appreciated! PS I can not spend too much money, so not super-expensive brands.
you should go to a ski shop and talk to personal knowlegde. They give you an idea of what you need. Tell them your price range and be able to help. They may even be able to find the right equipment.
