I really enjoyed reading "My life outside the ring" of Hulk Hogan with Mark Dagostino. I've always been a fan of Hogan. I, as in "Rocky III", WrestleMania, and episodes of "Hogan Knows Best, I saw. I even had a chance to see one concert televised events Monday Night Nitro. This event was very enriching for the Fans of Hulk Hogan because he left in red and yellow and was a good man again, after using black as Hollywood Hulk Hogan in his heel.
That's all I knew about Hogan, or Terry Gene Bollea. (His real name.) This book is beautifully brutal and honest man behind the legend, the fans around the world knows that Hulk Hogan. Of course, I saw Hogan disorders crossing accident and divorce her son on TV, but I do not care as much for entertainment or gossip rags, I do not know much about what was happening. As if I did not pay much attention when the case of steroids was going to WWF. But when I saw Hogan in a recent speech show, saying he was near suicide, I decided to consult this book, and I'm very glad I did.
Hogan has been completely open about his life outside the ring, revealing the ups and downs, and share their side of the recent crisis that has tarnished some of its images. He shares his stories of growth, trips by drugs (not just steroids) and alcohol, the tragic events of the life of his brother's life on the road of struggle, ups and downs with regard to how it began and eventually became the most famous wrestler of all time. Many of these revelations have been quite surprising to me, especially as a fan for many years.
The last part of the book focuses largely on the events of recent years and how Hogan was sent a downward spiral in combination with a bottle of alcohol, pills, and a pistol in his mouth. I was so close to ending it all. The pressures of a failed relationship, an accident of his son and from trial, almost all became too much. I say almost, because Hogan did not come out of depression and with the help of some friends, books and a new vision of life, is more positive than ever and waiting for a promising future.
I congratulate Hogan to be honest and let the readers know more about him, warts and all. Perfection is not around, and the character he plays for the public was hiding a lot of pain and tragedy taking place in the wings. The physical and emotional pain. However, showing that the book is actually a man who was and is 100% committed to his family. Same Now, after he separated from Linda, who says she still loves him and wants the best for their future. Her devotion to her two children, Brooke and Nick is very evident, and his shame and guilt of hurting them too is present.
The most important thing about this book is the message of hope. Hogan expressed his personal tragedies, but also what got him through of them. He even said that some may dismiss his belief in teaching the book and DVD "The Secret" as silly, but firmly believes in the power behind law of attraction and prayer, and helped turn aa life. He also admits that not over. He knows there will be challenges remain, and he's not sure how that will happen. But happiness with its new brand and positive attitude, he is sure the best is yet to come.
If you are a Hogan fan and control will enjoy this book to recover some of what was happening outside the ring and learn more about the life of a professional wrestler, who knows both the ups and downs. To hear the story of someone who has reached the pinnacle of success, but also enormous challenges facing that almost led him to take his own life, and how turned to its point of view, then you can also enjoy this book.
I must say, Hulk Hogan was the last person I thought I heard of the powers of the Law of Attraction and The Secret. " I'm very glad I did. The book allowed me to start seeing things differently in relation I am facing certain challenges. It is an inspiring and stimulating book as an honest and eye opening account of life Hogan outside the ring.
