If you are in or near Washington State, you should definitely check out Crystal Mountain. At an altitude of 7004 meters and a vertical drop of 3102 feet, Crystal Mountain is actually below Mount Rainier, which has a maximum altitude of 14,408 feet. Between November and April, several feet of new snow falls on Crystal Mountain, due to the cold Cascade storms common in the region.
